It's not an easy job to keep a playful baby in check.
But one young mother has discovered a trick to calm her seven-month-old daughter in no time.
The 22-year-old parent, Liu Dan, said her baby would immediately stop laughing, crying or moving every time she put a sticker on the child's forehead.
The first-time mother from the city of Changchun in north-eastern China's Jilin Province said she found out about the tip by accident.
She told MailOnline that one day she took an adhesive label off a new pair of socks and gently placed it on her baby's head - without thinking too much.
But then she saw her super-active daughter, Yang Yihan, suddenly freezing.
After that, Ms Liu tried to put other stickers or tapes on Yihan's forehead, and on all occasions the tiny girl instantly halted her actions and stayed very still.
'My daughter is normally so energetic, she doesn't even stop moving when I carry her,' Ms Liu said.
